GPP [general physical preparedness] / multiple opportunities - see calendar below

This describes the bulk of our class offerings. We move, we breathe, we work on learning and improving proper movement patterns so that when we go out into the world we are less prone to injury and more capable of doing the things we love well.

endurance / tuesdays & thursdays 11:30am & 6:30pm

No weights, just bodyweight movements and time on the ski erg, rowing machine, and assault bike. This class is all about building aerobic capacity without the neurological stress of lifting heavy weights, as well as getting comfortable with the machines and learning proper technique and how to use the computers.

heavy class / tuesdays 5:45am, 7:00am, 8:30AM, 5:15pm

This class focuses on working with heavy loads - back squat, farmers carries, cleans, bench etc. - to balance out the higher intensity workouts we do the rest of the week. Heavy Day will also include accessory work in order to balance out our strength and correct and identify weaknesses. Examples of accessory work include high volume finishers, wide grip banded pull ups, core work, etc.

Active Recovery + Mobility / Thursdays 5:45am, 7:00am, 8:30am, 5:15pm

Not every day in the gym should empty your tank. At the Active Recovery and Mobility classes you will be encouraged to keep your heart rate low, staying at a conversational pace. You will be moving lighter weights and there will be no scoring for this class. This is a time to rebuild and recover from the week’s more intense workouts. Don’t miss this one!

MASTERS 55+ / MONDAYS-WEDNESDAYS-FRIDAYS 9:45am

You are never too old to start something new, and that includes working on your fitness. It’s healthy to challenge yourself, learn new skills and put yourself in an environment where you are a little uncomfortable to start off with. This class focuses on a series of constantly varied movements that will help you build muscle, strong bones, fight against osteoporosis, reduce high blood pressure etc… this list goes on and on. If you are willing to put in the work, it doesn’t matter how out of shape you might be, consistency and intensity (relative to you) is the key! Our program and coaches will account for the changes in your body specific to your age, as well as asses your needs, and what your personal training goals are.

open gym / WEDNESDAYS AT 7:30PM
